Cigarettes

I started smoking when I was in school
Because smoking was in and so darn cool
Back then a pack cost a buck and a half
I always shared them with the smokers in my class

I tried to quit time and time again
Now they have a grip on me that will never end
I used the patch, gum and doctors medicine
But nothing has helped with this ridiculous addiction
I now realize that it was just an adolescent mind trick
And If I could do it over again my butt I would kick

So, please take this as a good example of what not to do
Don’t be fooled by yourself and your friend’s in school
Choose to be smoke free and save yourself the strife
It will be easier to live and will perhaps save your life
